Since 1988, hundreds of thousands of people have taken part in Walk MS events across the country raising funds and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year, the cumulative fundraising since 1988 – is expected to surpass $1 billion

In 1988 there wasn’t any disease modifying drugs. Today due to research that was funded by events like Walk MS, over a dozen drugs exist.
Ocrevus the latest medication was released last month and besides being used for relapsing remissive MS, it’s the first medicine for primary progressive MS.
Bottom line, progress is being made against the MonSter.
